Yes, when you insert the width measurement, you will receive 2 gate leaves that total that measurement.

eg: insert 3000mm width and you will recieve 2 x 1500mm wide gate leafs.

No, whatever gate height and width measurement you order, the actual gate will be delivered made to those dimensions.

eg: order 1 x single gate at 1830mm tall x 1000mm wide and your gate will measure the same when delivered 1830mm tall x 1000mm wide

eg: order 1 x double gates 1830mm tall x 3000mm wide and your gates when both gate leafs are tightly pushed together will measure the same when delivered 1830mm tall x 3000mm wide 

All gate heights are measured from the shoulder of the gate (hinge side). Any bow or curve raises above this approximately 100mm on single gates and approximately 250mm on double gates.

All gate/s widths are total. eg: order double gates at 3000mm wide and you would recieve 2 x 1500mm wide gate leafs or order a single gate at 1000mm wide and you would recieve 1 x 1000mm wide gate leaf.

Yes, we can make 70/30 split gates or any other split combination you require just contact us.

What Happens Next With Your Gate Order:

We make your gate order delivery simple with 3 easy steps!

1st notification: (within the next 72 hours)

You will receive an email notifying you of your scheduled delivery week and informing you when your order will be collected by our couriers. (please note this is a 2-person delivery service, so no assistance is required).

2nd notification: (at some point during your delivery week)

You will receive an email/text message from our 2-person couriers showing your collection and delivery date with the following options. - to accept the date - change the date - leave in a safe place - deliver to a nearby address - leave with a neighbour, etc. (just tick your preference on the email/text).

3rd notification: (day before & day of delivery)

You will receive a text/email showing your 3-hour timeslot with regular updates until the 2-person couriers arrive at your property.

*On rare occasions, we may need to send your gate order by a courier who will give you an 8 am - 6 pm delivery time slot only* Any enquiries about your order should be emailed only to [email protected]. Your email will be answered within 24 hours.

Yes we take the time to ensure all of our gates and posts are fully plained sanded to a very smooth finish. 

All wooden gates naturally move. However, we use premium-grade timber, which helps keep movement, splits and shakes to an minimum.

Keyed alike means if you buy more than one lock the same key will fit both locks.

eg: you purchase 2 x locks one for your gate and one for your shed the same key will fit both locks

Yes, Colour Sample Boxes are available to purchase under treatments.

Yes, we can offer help and advice when you receive your gates with the installation.

Our coatings contain anti-fungal properties and are an all-in-one primer and finish coat. If the colour is not suitable, you can coat straight over with any product/colour, knowing that your timber is already "keyed" and already contains all the protection of Sikkens. You would be effectively just doubling the protection.

No, our doors do not come supplied with glazing or beading you would need to purchase separately.

Yes, we will brace all gates according to their size and style to give them maximum strength.

No they will not come with any logo on this is just a copyright watermark for the website only.

Yes, our gates are designed to open both ways; however, if opening outwards, you need to add gate opening out hinge packers to your order. This will then enable your gates to open outwards.

The gate stiles protrude above the gate framing by 70mm.

The rounded stiles stick above the top horizontal rail by 70mm and is included in your height measurement so if you have ordered say Shrewsbury straight at 1870mm high the horizontal rail will be at 1800mm high.
